Bravecto uses the active ingredient Fluralaner. It uses it a at rate of 136.5g per 2lbs bodyweight or 136.5g per 1 kg bodyweight.
How often can I use Bravecto on my dog?
Bravecto should be used every 2 to 3 months, however you can use it fortnightly to monthly if neccesarry.
How long does it take for Bravecto to work?
It will begin controlling flea infestations and ticks within 24 hours of administration.
How long after use Bravecto can my dogs swim or be bathed?
Your dog can be bathed or swim right away after dosing with Bravecto, this will not effect the medication at all.
How old does my dog need to be to start using Bravecto?
Bravecto can be used on dogs from 8 weeks of age and 4lbs (2kg) of weight.
How should Bravecto be stored?
It should be stored below 30°C (Room temperature), away from light and out of the reach of children.
Can I use Bravecto on my cat?
No, you cannot use Bravecto on your cat.
If I miss giving my dog a dose of Bravecto, what should I do?
If a dose is missed, administer the tablet and just resume the usual schedule. You will use it again in another full month from when it was just given last.
What should I do if my dog has a negative reaction or side effect to Bravecto?
If your dog has any kind of negative reaction to Bravecto, you should contact your vet ASAP.
