It can be used fortnightly and if you are using it to treat for ticks it should be repeated fortnightly. If you are just using it to treat for fleas once a month should be fine. If you have a bad flea infestation and are noticing fleas coming back early, repeating the treatment early is recommended.

You want to keep your dog dry for 48 hours after applying Frontline. You also want to make sure that your dog is fully dry before application. After the 48 hours you are fine to bath or have your dog swim for the rest of the month.

This can be for a number of reasons, the main reasons would be if you have a really bad flea problem Frontline Plus is not working as strong at the end of the month as it does at the start, so although it is still working some what it is not enough to stop the large amount of fleas. If this is the case you will want to re-apply Frontline Plus every 2 weeks while fleas are bad. Another reason is that it takes up to a year to stop the flea cycle in your house. This means that treating your dog with Frontline the full year instead of just the warmer months when fleas are worse will make it more effective when flea season is on. Most people dont have an extreme case of fleas and wont have to worry about it lasting less than a month.
