Alternatively dissolve the tablet in 5-10mls of warm water or other fluid and add to your pet's food. Ensure your pet consumes the entire dose. If the entire dose is not taken, give another tablet to ensure protection against heartworm infection. It is important to give Nuheart Tablets every month, preferably on the same date. if a tablet is missed by not more than 7 days, give a tablet immediately and resume the monthly dosing program.
